‘I didn’t mean to do that!’ is the latest track from queer indie-pop artist Claudia Fenoglio. The Manchester-based artist has blended a hazy, dreamy undercurrent with gentle, intimate acoustic textures. The guitar part is twisting and circular, creating a unique rhythmic feeling that is grounded by those warm, held synth chords. “This song is about apologising for putting yourself first even if it means hurting someone else, but doing so with no regrets,” explains Fenoglio. “It’s kind of like when you say, ‘sorry you feel that way’ - harsh but honest.” Claudia Fenoglio’s sophomore EP, It Always Fades In The End, drops on October 3rd, 2025, via EMI North Records. -Dan Peeke
